Duties include teaching beginners through intermediate students, horsemanship classes (non-mounted instruction), seasonal adult riders, pony fun day program for intro level students, summer camp half day program. Assist with managing volunteer program, and basic care for lesson horses such as grooming and/or tack. Office duties in managing specific programs, record keeping and community outreach. Base weekly salary plus commissions. This is NOT a traveling or riding position. Certified/Accredited Instructor is a plus. Minimum of 5 years teaching experience and references required.

Interns will also gain valuable professional experience and will learn about all aspects of our business including event logistics, horse show management, operations, hospitality, and communications. There are both paid and unpaid positions available depending on experience and housing is included regardless.

Intern candidates should be friendly, motivated and hardworking with strong writing, project management, and organizational skills. Interns will need to work well under pressure and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. An understanding and familiarity with the hunter-jumper world is a plus.
