Affiliate Awards

The USHJA and Affiliate Organization Members strive to recognize and reward individual members who demonstrate active participation through riding and showing, volunteering within the industry and/or the Affiliate and demonstrating strong horsemanship skills and knowledge.

Affiliate Awards Program

The purpose of the Affiliate Awards Program is to enhance an affiliate's existing competition or horsemanship based award(s) with USHJA recognition.

Affiliate organizations may choose between three options and use USHJA provided awards to augment their own awards, while also demonstrating a connection to the national aspects of our sport. These awards are voluntary and available to any USHJA Affiliate Organization in good standing.

The Affiliate Awards Programs was created to enhance an affiliate organization's existing equitation or horsemanship based award(s) with USHJA recognition. NEW for 2022: The Affiliate Awards Program has been updated to allow Affiliates more flexibility to utilize the awards to best fit their divisions, championships, or programs.

Affiliate Awards Program Application

Affiliate Organizations may choose between three options:

  • Championship Classes: Three award categories are offered: Hunter, Jumper and Equitation
  • Year-End Champions: the high point rider/horse or winner of the affiliate's year-end championships in the Hunter, Jumper, or Equitation divisions.
  • Horsemanship Program or Sportmanship Award

NEW Affiliate Year-end High Score Award

Each USHJA Affiliate Organization has the opportunity to submit one High Score member to USHJA. This person will be issued a USHJA award recognizing their achievement.
