Instructor Credential Toolkit
The USHJA Instructor Credential Marketing Toolkit aims to assist Credentialed Instructors in the marketing of their business to encourage sport growth, provide educational opportunities, and help build a foundation for future riders. As a Credentialed Instructor, you are invited to use these tools and promotional resources to help promote your credentialed status, your lesson program, and your relationship with the USHJA.
Below you will find one-click access to promotional resources that can help you advertise and market your Credentialed status.
For Students/Riders
- Access continuing education opportunities through grants supported by the USHJA Foundation.
- Introduce potential new students to your program using this introductory “new rider” pamphlet.
- Get a $50 discount toward hosting a Mini EAP clinic that helps develop a strong educational foundation in the saddle and at the barn. Email this form to education@ushja.org.
- Recruit riders to participate in your mounted and unmounted clinics by posting them to the Directory of Clinics for free. Submit the clinic application form to education@ushja.org.
- Expand your clients’ horsemanship knowledge using the HQC Study Guide
- The online Horsemanship Quiz Challenge is available for both juniors and adults.
- Develop barn comradery during the Stable Challenge for an added challenge!
- Have an IHSA team? Get them involved in the IHSA Team Challenge too!
Marketing and Promotions
- Request use of the USHJA and Credentialed Instructor logos for your website, social media, barn attire, business cards, etc. Email the form to sdorman@ushja.org.
- Ensure your contact information is up to date for display on the Credential Directory by logging into your USHJA account. Contact education@ushja.org to edit your privacy controls if something isn’t displaying correctly.
- Submit a News Submission Form to share and showcase exciting things happening with your lesson program in your zone's eNews!
- Looking for logo wear? Order hats, clothing, and other Credential logo goodies.
- You are invited to network, communicate, share, and learn via the USHJA Credentialed Instructor private Facebook group. Be sure to answer the membership questions.
- Share you Credentialed Instructor status on your social media pages using these graphics for Instagram and Facebook. Don’t forget to tag US Hunter Jumper!
- Customize this flyer with your contact information and hang it around town or advertise in prize lists.
- Customize this business card and share with prospective clients anywhere you go.
- Post job openings for your facility for free using the USHJA’s Community Job Board
Education, Awards, and Show
- Apply to become a new Recognized Riding Academy and automatically receive a $50 discount. RRA benefits include:
- Honoring lesson horses on the Honor Roll
- Recognizing students for a job well done with an RRA Honor
- Students receive a 50% discount on the Education membership
- Join us for a grassroots-inspired webinar series that focuses on topics that matter to you.
- Host or attend USHJA Outreach competitions. Outreach memberships are free, but students who upgrade to an Education membership are eligible for year-end awards.
