USHJA Announces Change to Member Renewal and Application Process With the New Member Experience

Lexington, Ky.—Sep. 1, 2021—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to announce a new personalized, interactive digital member experience and online member account launching December 1, 2021, for the 2022 competition year. The process to join or renew USHJA memberships will also change on December 1, in conjunction with the launch, with all renewals and applications being directed to ushja.org.

“We are thrilled to bring this new and improved digital experience to our members,” said USHJA President Mary Knowlton. “While the process to join or renew memberships for 2022 will look different, these changes will deliver an easy to use and intuitive experience for members to navigate through their account and access all of their information right at their fingertips.”

The USHJA has developed a powerful personalization engine that gives members the ability to customize their member experience specifically to their individual membership needs. This new digital experience allows all of our members to create a tailored and individual profile starting with the new membership renewal process.

From October 1, 2021, to November 30, 2021, members will use the current application and renewal process. Beginning December 1, 2021, all USHJA renewals or new member applications will be redirected to the new USHJA Member Experience directly on ushja.org.

On December 1, members will receive a welcome email with a direct link to view their new and improved online USHJA member account. Members will then need to verify their identity and select a username and password to access their new online member account and finish the renewal process.

Active/Competing members planning to compete in USEF-rated competitions must renew their US Equestrian membership separately though usef.org. In addition, as of December 1, 2021, horse registrations, transfers, leases and name changes will need to be completed through both USHJA and US Equestrian.

Key features coming to the new digital member experience throughout 2022 include an improved online member account with easy access to profile details, member benefits and discounts; a universal shopping cart where members can quickly and easily pay for membership, program enrollment, horse registration and more in a single transaction; the ability to add the USHJA membership card to Apple, Google or Samsung Wallet; access to a comprehensive and adaptive competition calendar that can be synched to members’ personal devices; and the Family Manager feature where family members can be organized together and save time by accessing all of the family's USHJA activities in one place.
