Hosting an EAP Regional or National Training Session

The EAP continues to be one of the USHJA’s premier education programs, and it is made possible in part by the wonderful host locations who support the program. Hosts have the opportunity to bring members, who are excelling within the sport, into their facility for this unique and gratifying educational experience.

USHJA offers Regional Training Sessions in areas where an appropriate host facility applies and that best serve the demographic population and geographic balance of those interested in participating in the program.

The host facility does not have to be a show facility to be considered. Private farms, boarding facilities, universities, prep schools, et cetera may apply, as long as the facility can meet USHJA Emerging Athletes Program host facility requirements.

Host facilities are determined on an annual basis by evaluating applications, geographical balance, ability of the facility to meet USHJA/EAP requirements, variance of dates, constituency opportunity and Emerging Athletes Program Committee recommendations with final review by the USHJA Executive Director.

If you have any questions about applying to host a session, please contact the USHJA Education Department at education@ushja.org
