Lexington, Ky.—Sept. 11, 2020—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to welcome the NTRA Equine Member Benefits as its newest Supporting Sponsor.
“We are excited to partner with NTRA to provide this added benefit for our Recognized Riding Academies," said Kevin Price, USHJA executive director. "Our RRAs create well-rounded equestrians from the base of our sport up, and we are pleased to offer this opportunity especially for them.”
Through this partnership, USHJA Recognized Riding Academies are being given the chance to win a John Deere X330 Lawn Tractor with 42-inch Deck. RRAs that are currently recognized by the USHJA from December 1, 2019 through September 1, 2020 can be nominated by students writing to USHJA, showing how their RRA promotes horsemanship, sportsmanship, and is preparing them to be a well-rounded equestrian. Nomination essays must be in 500 words or less and submitted by October 5, 2020. Nominations will be reviewed and the winner selected by the USHJA RRA Committee. Click here to nominate.
“We are delighted to partner with the United States Hunter Jumper Association and provide support to their events and to its members. With this partnership, NTRA Advantage and the Equine Benefits program has a roster of well-known partners where USHJA members can receive significant savings from companies such as John Deere, Sherwin Williams, Office Depot and Big Ass Fans,” said Fritz Widaman, Vice President of NTRA Advantage. “We look forward to supporting the hunter and jumper disciplines of equestrian sport.”
Launched in 2017, the USHJA Recognized Riding Academy Program acknowledges lesson programs, riding facilities, equestrian schools, and other types of educational equestrian programs that emphasize horsemanship and sportsmanship, promote safety, and offer introductory hunter/jumper lessons. These programs create a foundation for well-rounded equestrians who benefit the entire sport. Benefits of becoming a Recognized Riding Academy include a listing on the USHJA website, discounts with USHJA partners, access to a marketing tool kit, networking opportunities and more.
