USHJA Board of Directors Ratifies Appointment of Eight Discipline Directors to USHJA Board

Tampa, Fla.—Dec. 11, 2018—On the third day of the 2018 USHJA Annual Meeting, presented by World Equestrian Center, the USHJA Board of Directors ratified the following eight discipline directors elected for four-year terms to the Board of Directors by the Hunter and Jumper Working Groups:

  • Rick Cram, Aiken, S.C. (Hunter Working Group appointment)
  • Margie Engle, Wellington, Fla. (Jumper Working Group athlete appointment)
  • Brooke Kemper, Somerset, Va. (Jumper Working Group appointment)
  • Anne Kursinski, Frenchtown, N.J. (Jumper Working Group appointment)
  • Betty Oare, Warrenton, Va. (Hunter Working Group appointment)
  • Mike Rosser, Southern Pines, N.C. (Hunter Working Group athlete appointment)
  • Jimmy Torano, Wellington, Fla. (Jumper Working Group athlete appointment)
  • Caroline Weeden, Lake Forest, Ill. (Hunter Working Group athlete appointment)

On Monday, December 10, the USHJA Board of Directors elected four at-large board members, secretary, and treasurer, and ratified Hunter and Jumper Working Group appointments for discipline vice presidents. All individuals elected and appointed to the USHJA Board of Directors this week will assume their duties on the Board of Directors beginning at the close of the 2018 USHJA Annual Meeting, presented by World Equestrian Center, on Thursday, December 13.
