Host Applications Open for 2024 USHJA National, Zone and Educational Programs

Lexington, Ky.—April 3, 2023—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is now accepting online applications from competition managers wishing to offer USHJA championships, special classes and other programs at the zone and national levels in the 2024 competition year and beyond.

The USHJA requires applications from competitions and facilities looking to host the following programs, all of which are available for application through the USHJA Member Account:

National and Regional

  • 2024 USHJA International Hunter Derby Classes
  • 2024 USHJA World Championship Hunter Rider Events, including the 2024 West Coast Spectacular and Central Spectacular
  • 2024 USHJA Outreach Competition
  • 2024 USHJA Gladstone Cup Equitation Classic for Amateurs
  • 2024/2025/2026 Standlee/USHJA National Hunter Derby Regional Championships
  • 2024/2025/2026 Platinum Performance/International Hunter Derby Regional Championships
  • 2024/2025/2026 Platinum Performance/Green Hunter Incentive Regional Championships

Zone

  • 2024 Handy Hunter Challenges for Zones 1, 4, 6, 7 and 9
  • 2024 Zone 10 NAYC Selection Trials

Educational

  • 2024/2025 Lindsay Maxwell Charitable Fund/USHJA Gold Star Clinics
  • 2024 MZ Farms/USHJA Emerging Athletes Program National and Regional Training Sessions
  • 2024 USHJA Instructor Credential Live Workshop and Examination Host Facility

Applications to host the Lindsay Maxwell Charitable Fund/USHJA Gold Star Clinics are due May 1, 2023. Competitions wishing to offer Outreach and facilities applying to host the Instructor Credential Live Workshop and Examination Host Facility may apply at any time throughout the year.

Applications for all remaining events are due June 1, 2023. The online process allows a potential host to apply for multiple programs and easily submit applications for multiple locations. Interested hosts may access the application by selecting "USHJA Host Application for Programs" from their USHJA Member Account at my.ushja.org.
