Colvin and Odette Make History in $111,265 3'6"/3'9" Platinum Performance/USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Championship

Lexington, Ky.—Aug. 11, 2026—History was made in more ways than one in the Rolex Stadium at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky during the 3'6"/3'9" Platinum Performance/USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Championship on Tuesday, August 11. A record-breaking $111,265 in prize money was awarded, and Odette, ridden by Victoria Colvin, claimed the Championship title. The victory marked Odette’s second consecutive Championship win and made the mare the only horse to win the 3’/3’3” section one year before returning to claim the 3’6”/3’9” title the following two. The new pair won on an untouchable score of 279, with Scott Stewart and Timeless taking reserve honors on a 274, and Jennifer Hannan aboard Prospero with a 272.5 in third.

“She's amazing and a super, super cool horse. She’s very easy, loves to jump, has a great attitude, and very rarely likes to mess up,” Colvin said of Odette. “She felt really great in the First Round and then came back and I actually felt like she jumped even better. She knew it was the second round and she jumped great.”

A field of 79 entries launched championship competition on Tuesday morning over the First Round course designed by Tom Hern and Meghan Rawlins, which included 10 jumping efforts and one option fence. Delivering the top performance of the First Round, Colvin of Loxahatchee, Florida, in Zone 4, and John & Stephanie Ingram, LLC's Odette claimed the lead with a score of 274, earning an $8,344.88 check. Hannan, representing Zone 1 from Wakefield, Rhode Island, followed closely in second aboard Stephanie Bulger's Prospero on a score of 272, and claimed a $5,908.17 check. Stewart of Flemington, New Jersey, in Zone 2, piloted Timing, owned by Kulkin Equestrian Inc., to third place with a score of 271, which garnered a $3,421.40 check.

With scores reset to a clean slate, the top 30 combinations returned for the Championship Round before three panels of judges including David Beisel, Archibald Cox, Virginia Edwards, Troy Hendricks, Bobbie Reber, and Chris Wynne. Colvin and Odette improved by an impressive five points from the First Round, earning three scores above 90 to secure the Championship title with a winning total of 279. For their performance, the pair added $13,908.13 to their earnings and received the USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Championship 3'6"/3'9" trophy, donated by the Kenny Wheeler Jr. Family.

Taking reserve champion and last to enter the Rolex Stadium was Stewart and Timing, who also improved their original score to earn a 274 in the Championship Round, which added an additional $9,846.95 to their winnings. Claiming third overall was Hannan and Prospero, who remained consistent to earn a final score of 272.5 and added a check of $5,702.33 to their pot.

"Timing does the Junior Hunters and is new to me, but has been really consistent,” Stewart remarked about his ride. “He's really straightforward and easy and hasn't jumped since Junior Hunter [National Championships]. I don't know if I could have done much better; Tori and Odette are hard to beat.”

“Prospero is a 7-year-old gelding that I've had for about a year and a half,” Hannan remarked. “He's straightforward, and I was blessed to have that today. I think he rode great and I was very pleased with the First Round. He is a First-Year Green horse and rose to the occasion, jumped each height, and has a great mentality.”

Each year, the Green Hunter Incentive Championships provide additional recognition and prize money opportunities through the Rider Ranking System, which places riders into three tiers based on their earnings from the previous competition year within the program. Tier I includes riders ranked 1-45, Tier II encompasses riders ranked 46-100, and Tier III consists of riders ranked 101 and below.

In the Tier II Championship Round, a minimum of 10 additional Tier II and below riders returned to compete for separate awards and prize money. Tier II competitors contended for an additional 20% of the Championship purse, worth $22,253, based on their Championship Round or Tier II Championship Round results, while Tier III riders were eligible for an additional 10%, totaling $11,126.50, based on their Preliminary Round results.

Vivian Yowan, of Wellington, Florida, in Zone 4, topped the Tier II Championship, earning $6,675.90 aboard Oakland Training & Sales, LLC's Especially. Their score of 266 not only secured the Tier II title but also placed them seventh overall. Tier III rider Kelly Mullen, of Brentwood, Tennessee, in Zone 4, claimed second place in the Tier II Championship aboard Catch My Heart 5, owned by Susan Turner. The pair earned a score of 263 and took home $4,450.60 in prize money. Fellow Tier III rider Halie Robinson, of Santa Barbara, California, in Zone 10, finished third in the Tier II Championship aboard Big Picture, LLC's Simba De Vinck. Her score of 260 earned $3,337.95.

Robinson also led the Tier III standings in the First Round to collect an additional $3,337.95. Christina Serio, of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, in Zone 2, earned $2,225.30 from the Tier III purse, in addition to $1,233.92 from the Tier II payout. Jason McArdle, of Rancho Santa Fe, California, in Zone 10, rounded out the Tier III recipients, collecting $1,668 in prize money.

Between rounds, additional awards were presented to 3’6”/3’9” competitors.
