$5,000 Antevy Family/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Grant

The $5,000 Antevy Family/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Grant was established by Melanie and Orly Antevy, inspired by Orly’s triple-gold performance at the 2025 Markel/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships in Traverse City, Michigan. The goal of the Antevy Family/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Grant, is ensuring other young riders have the same opportunity to pursue one of the highlights of Orly’s riding career. Each year, one recipient will be awarded the full $5,000 for expenses related to competing at the Markel/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships .

Award

One $5,000 grant awarded per year. To reimburse the recipient for expenses related to competing at the USHJA Zone Team Jumper Championship up to the awarded amount. 

Applications 

Applications are open to all USHJA members competing in a USHJA Zone Team Jumper Championship. Applications open on January 1 each year and close on April 1. All applications will be submitted online. 

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the grant, a member must meet the requirements, complete an application, and submit all other required documentation to USHJA no later than:  April 1, 2025. Grant applications may be approved pending acceptance to the USHJA Zone Team Jumper Championship. 

Applicant Requirements 

1.  U.S. citizen  
2.  Current Active Competing member in good standing with USHJA 
3.  Demonstrate a financial need 
4.  Must be accepted in and attend a USHJA Zone Team Jumper Championship within the same year the grant is awarded. 

Deadline and Award

The Antevy Family/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Grant will open on January 1 and will close on April 1. All applicants will be notified of the decision via email. Incomplete applications and applications received after the stated deadline will not be considered for this grant. Previous recipients of this grant may not apply; this grant may only be received by any individual once.
