USHJA International Hunter Derby
The USHJA International Hunter Derby was created to bring the tradition and art of horsemanship back to the show ring stronger and better than ever. The USHJA International Hunter Derby Program consists of a series of IHD classes throughout the competition year, regional championships and an annual championship.
Enrollment
All horses must be enrolled or pay a non-enrolled horse fee to participate in a USHJA IHD class.
- IHD enrollment fee: $450 all year (December 1, 2025 – November 30, 2026).
- Non-enrolled horse fee: $150 per horse entered in an IHD without current enrollment.
- There is no limit to the number of IHDs a horse may compete in utilizing the non-enrolled horse fee.
- The non-enrolled horse fee applies to every IHD entered unless/until the horse has a current enrollment.
- Any non-enrolled horse fee paid does not credit towards an enrollment fee for the current competition year.
Only after enrollment, exhibitors will be eligible for inclusion on the regional and national money won
tracking lists and to participate in the regional and annual championships.
The 2026 IHD Series will run from December 1, 2025, through November 30, 2026
