USHJA SCHOLARSHIP FOR FURTHER EDUCATION
The USHJA Foundation is pleased to offer the USHJA Scholarship for Further Education. The scholarship award in the amount of up to $10,000 is awarded annually to be used for community college, college, graduate school, trade school, or professional school. Eligible candidates can apply for the USHJA Scholarship for Further Education every year but may only be awarded the scholarship once.
Eligibility Requirements
- Acceptance to or currently enrolled at a college, university, graduate school, or trade school for Fall 2026.
- US Citizen or Legal Resident.
- Minimum of 2 consecutive years of USHJA membership, including this year (at least at the Education/Non-Competing membership level).
- Meet at least one of the following academic or employment requirements:
- 3.0 GPA (or higher) on a 4.0 scale
- Equivalent employment history (if recent school transcript is not available)
- Demonstrate Financial Need
Deadline and Award Notification
The deadline is stated on the application page. Incomplete applications or applications submitted after the stated deadline will not be considered for the grant. Applicants will be informed of the award decision related to their application before the end of July. Previous recipients of this grant may not apply; this grant may only be received by an individual once.
