Lexington, Ky.—Dec. 1, 2025—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to announce the launch of the Antevy Family/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Grant, a new annual grant designed to support one rider competing in a Markel/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships. Made possible through the generosity of the Antevy family, this $5,000 grant will reimburse eligible athletes for expenses related to attending the Championships.

"We are grateful to the Antevy family for their generous support of our Zone Jumper riders,” said Whitney Allen, USHJA Executive Director. "This grant will help ensure that financial barriers do not prevent promising athletes from participating in this important developmental program."
Applications for the grant will open each year on January 1 and close on April 1. The grant is open to all USHJA members competing in a USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships who are U.S. citizens, current Active Competing members in good standing with the USHJA, demonstrate financial need, and have been accepted into and will attend a Zone Jumper Team Championships in the same year the grant is awarded.
"For me, Show Jumping has always been a quiet, individual pursuit. This summer’s Zone Team Jumper Championships in Traverse City, Michigan, opened my eyes to the uplifting experience of riding as part of a team. My triple-gold performance—while beyond anything I could have imagined—paled in comparison to the feeling of working together toward a shared goal. The encouragement, unity, and camaraderie from my teammates and our chef d’équipe taught me that the true victory wasn’t the medals, but the lasting bonds of sportsmanship and friendship we created," said Orly Antevy. "I felt compelled to pay it forward through the creation of this grant. My hope is that it will open doors for other qualified athletes—giving them the chance to grow, compete, and be part of something larger than themselves."

The Markel/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships are open to Junior and Amateur competitors at the 1.10/1.15m and 1.20/1.25m levels. The Championships are an integral component of the USHJA Emerging Jumper Rider Program, which marks the entry point into the Show Jumping Athlete Pathway. All participants are recognized as USHJA Emerging Jumper Riders, while individual medalists receive the elevated distinction of Gold Star Emerging Jumper Riders.
Individual medalists and their trainers also earn invitations to attend one USHJA Gold Star Clinic of their choosing within two years. These clinics feature four days of mounted and unmounted education from leading clinicians and industry experts, and rotate coasts annually.
