USHJA Mentor Program

The USHJA Mentor Program is designed to provide young, up and coming professionals access to top level professionals for answers to their questions about teaching, training and the horse business in general.

• The Mentor Program Application
• A signed copy of the Release and Indemnification Agreement
• The name of the professional you would like to mentor. A mentor will be assigned to you if you do not have a specific request.

Once the Questionnaire and Release and Indemnification Agreement are received in the USHJA office, correspondence information will be provided for your mentor.

Correspondence with the mentors will be via email/fax or telephone for up to one year.

The USHJA mentors are volunteers that have agreed to dedicate their time and knowledge to the UHSJA membership. As professionals their time and knowledge are valuable commodities. USHJA asks that members who utilize the Mentor Program exhibit the highest level of respect and understanding for the professional volunteer’s time.
