2011 Adequan FEI North American Junior/Young Rider Championships presented by Gotham North
The Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY will host the 2011 North American Junior and Young Rider Championships which will be held July 27-July 31, 2011.

New Application Process – Applications now submitted to USEF
Application - Riders wishing to be considered for either a North American Junior Championship Team or a North American Young Rider Championship Team must complete an application. There is a separate application for the Junior Team and a separate application for the Young Rider Team. Riders wishing to apply for both may do so if eligible by age but must use BOTH applications.
- Save $10 per application by completing your application online. Online applications are updated immediately in the standings and email confirmation is sent immediately from USEF.
Click on "USEF LOGIN" at the top right hand side of the USEF home page at www.usef.org. Online applications also have an extended deadline of Wednesday June 15, 2011.
- Or download a paper application for the Junior Team HERE and or/ a paper application for the Young Rider Team HERE. Paper applications take a week to be updated in the standings and once updated, an email confirmation from USEF will be sent.
Paper applications must be postmarked, hand delivered, or faxed on or prior to Wednesday June 8, 2011.
Additional Certificate of Capability required for Zone 3:
Each horse/rider combination representing Zone 3 at the 2011 NAJYRC must have jumped clear, an open water obstacle as defined per JP126 in a competition within the qualifying period. The water obstacle must be a minimum of 8 feet in width. Riders must obtain verification of this in writing from the horse show office with a signed judge’s card including a copy of the course diagram and return to the Zone 3 NAJYRC Coordinator.
Additional Certificate of Capability Requirement for Zone 7
Each horse/rider combination representing Zone 7 at the NAJYRC must have successfully jumped an open water obstacle as defined by JP126 in a competition within the qualifying
period. Riders must obtain verification of this in writing from the horse show office with a signed judge’s card and copy of the course diagram and return to the Zone 7 NAJYRC Coordinator prior to June 15, 2011.
Zone 10 Reminder: In addition to the USEF FEI Application submission; A USHJA Zone 10 Selection Trials application and fee for each horse/rider must be completed and received by the Zone 10 Coordinator or her designee before the first trial in which the Candidate is competing begins. If the application is not received prior to the Selection Trial, points will not count.
