The process and procedures for submitting recommendations will be available on the USHJA website on September 10. Feedback Requested: Upcoming Hunter Restructure Retreat On September 13-14 the Hunter Restructure Committee is having a retreat. In order to benefit the sport as a whole it is important to go through a process of reviewing our sport to identify any weaknesses and address them in a productive manner. Please send topic ideas and solutions targeted at making our sport better to Melanie Fransen by September 11, via email at mfransen@ushja.org. In 2008, the USHJA Hunter Restructure Committee was created and charged with taking an overview of the hunter division and propose innovative changes to the hunter division. The committee has already successfully proposed new rules for the sport - click here for what the committee has already accomplished. The mission of the USHJA Hunter Restructure Committee is to identify and preserve the core traditions of show hunters, while restructuring the hunter division. The Committee will encourage innovation, create expanded opportunities for participation and provide for flexible competition choices.
