A USHJA Zone Horse of the Year Finals is designed to reward participants in the USHJA Zone Horse of the Year Program and Stirrup Cup Program by providing competitors with
an opportunity to earn bonus points in the sections at a competition that the USHJA has deemed worthy of these awards. If needed, each zone may offer two USHJA Zone Horse of

USHJA Children’s & Adult Amateur Jumper Regional
Are you a Children’s or Adult Amateur Jumper rider who has been hoping for a chance to compete in a Championship?
Over the years there has been on-going discussion among Adult Amateur and Children’s jumper members about having
their own championship; USHJA has made that vision a reality in 2013.
In an effort to provide greater participation, more competition and less cost to exhibitors there will be four regions, composed of the USHJA zones as follows:
- North – Zones 1, 2 and 5
- South – Zones 3 and 4
- Central – Zones 6 and 7
- West – Zones 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12
Applications for Riders are now available!
Competitions will be held for teams and/or individual riders. A team will consist of a minimum of three horse and rider combinations, but not more than four.
The number of teams that each state can send to the Championship will be determined by the number of Children’s jumper riders and Adult Amateur jumper riders
residing in a state the previous year. As an example, a state with less than 150 Children’s jumper riders will be permitted one team.

USHJA Children’s and Adult Amateur Jumper Regional Championships please visit our website
