USHJA Announces Fenwick Equestrian Products as Awards Sponsor

The USHJA is pleased to announce Fenwick Equestrian Products as the Awards Cooler Sponsor of the 2013 USHJA Children's/Adult Amateur Jumper Regional Championships. Providing high quality coolers to events such as the 2010 World Equestrian Games, the USHJA is excited to have Fenwick on board with this new program.

"Fred [McEwan] and I spent many wonderful years on the show circuit before becoming involved with race horses, so it makes us very proud to be involved with the USHJA. It seems appropriate for Fenwick Equestrian to be sponsoring this particular division since my champion Junior Jumper, Royal Brigade was my first big horse in 1971!" said Fenwick President Wilhelmina McEwan.

Fenwick Equestrian, a US based company, was created in 2009 when the founder, Wilhelmina McEwan, began looking for a unique alternative to mass market products for horses. She wanted an exclusive, high performance product that was both stylish and functional. Unable to find any alternatives that appealed to her, Wilhelmina and her brother Fred McEwan created Fenwick Equestrian. She began to work with designers and industry experts in Europe to develop the perfect line of performance coolers, horse blankets, saddle pads, clothing and leg protection gear for all horse disciplines.

In addition to their sponsorship of the USHJA Children's and Adult Amateur Jumper Regional Championships, Fenwick Equestrian Products will offer a 10% discount and free domestic shipping for all website sales to the USHJA membership.

Road to the Children's & Adult Amateur Jumper Regional Championships - An Open Letter from Jeff Campf, Chair of the USHJA JWG Children and Adult Jumper Task Force

The USHJA is constantly striving to find more and better ways to reach and to serve the interests of its members. The buzz coming out of the 2012 USHJA convention in Miami was the 'pipeline' that both educates and brings practical experience to our jumper riders by providing competitions geared to an FEI standard. The road to the United States Equestrian Team starts at the state/zone /regional level, and the newly created USHJA Children's and Adult Amateur Jumper Regional Championships fits perfectly within that goal.

The USHJA Owners Committee created the Owners Resource Guide to help you, as a horse owner, make educated decisions and assist you in enjoying your experience with horses. This guide supports the vision that welfare of the horse is paramount in our sport. Helping you to become a more educated and engaged owner plays a large role in ensuring this outcome.

This resource guide includes the USHJA Owners Sales Integrity Program, which provides basic information and tips to help owners feel informed and confident in the sales process. The guide also outlines owner and rider responsibilities while at a horse show, and an organization's (USHJA, USEF, et cetera.) obligations to ensure that your showing experience is maximized.
