WCHR Debuts West Coast Hunter Spectacular

For 2013 the World Championship Hunter Rider Task Force has enhanced its prestigious program with the addition of the West Coast Hunter Spectacular. This Spectacular will be held April 20 during the Flintridge Spring Classic in La Canada Flintridge, CA. This highlight event will showcase the very best of the show hunters as they take center stage in a two-round Hunter Spectacular where professionals, juniors and amateurs compete head to head.

Created to mirror the excitement of the Palm Beach Spectacular, the West Coast Spectacular will no doubt become a distinctive part of the Member Event Series for the WCHR program as professionals, junior and amateur riders vie for the coveted title of Champion and a share of the guaranteed $30,000 in prize monies.

In addition to providing an evening packed with top-notch competition, the 2013 WCHR West Coast Hunter Spectacular includes the following hospitality opportunity for your enjoyment:

• Don't miss a single round of the exciting class from comfortable ringside tables for four in the historic Jimmy A. Williams Oval
• Enjoy wine and dinner starting at 6:00 p.m. while you watch the evening's festivities and championship hunter class under the lights

Table and individual ticket reservations are now being accepted and can be purchased here. Please contact Leslie Mangan by e-mail or by phoning (859) 225-6704 to find out more.

World Championship Hunter Rider Standings

The sixth WCHR Member Event of the 2013 series starts March 13 at the Scottsdale Spring Classic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Standings are current on the WCHR website through WEF 7. WCHR is proud to unveil a new user friendly and interactive results format designed from member feedback. As with any new system, it will be monitored closely for accuracy, and we ask that all members help us identify any issues by checking your points thoroughly after each new posting. In an effort to maintain fairness, points in the Performance Working Hunter 3'6” section may incur a recalculation related to the implementation of the 2013 WCHR increment system. Points lock 30 days after posting so please email any discrepancies to Kelley Douglas within 30 days. Thank you for your patience and assistance.
