Seminar
The USHJA Marketing and Communications Committee
will be hosting a Marketing 101 Seminar on reaching your marketing
goals.

Review Luncheon During lunch, attendees will be presented
with a presentation highlighting the achievements of the USHJA staff and
committee members on the programs and events that have been developed and
implemented over the past year.

Thursday, December 13 Leadership
Seminar with Dr. Andrew Weiner, Ed.D. Dr. Weiner is an
associate professor in College of
Education at the University of
Kentucky. He will
present ideas and concepts for running an efficient meeting, provide
valuable tools to work through conflict resolution and resources for
having a difficult conversation. All meeting attendees are welcome to
attend and we ask that all committee chairs and vice chairs to attend the
meeting.

Evening of
Equestrians -Sponsored by Stadium Jumping The Evening of
Equestrians will feature the presentation of the following awards:
Foundation Awards, USHJA Volunteer of the Year, the Affiliate Awards
Regional Winners, Rider Recognition Awards presented by World Equestrian
Brands, the Owner Recognition Award, Youth Sportsmanship Award and the
Amateur Sportsmanship Award.
Tickets for
the Dinner can be purchased until Wednesday, December 12th. After this
date, we will not be able to sell tickets for the awards dinner. Tickets
can be purchased at the time of Registration or on-site.

Updates on the 2008 USHJA International Hunter
Derby
Schedule
Throughout the year, USHJA will be
promoting the International Hunter Derby Series. The horseman behind this
effort believe that riders and breeders in Europe have an interest in this
sport and would like the opportunity to showcase their horses in
international show hunter competition. The WCHR World Cup Hunter Challenge
proved that there is international interest in show hunters and the USHJA
International Hunter Derby is the catalyst for bringing people from around
the world to our sport.
