The Pennsylvania National Horse Show in Harrisburg, PA will host the annual USEF National Junior Jumper Championships which will be held October 13-15, 2011.

Riders wishing to be considered for the 2010 USEF National Junior Jumper Championships must complete an application by one of the following two methods:

• Save $5 by completing your application online. Online applications are updated immediately in the standings and email confirmation is sent immediately from USEF. Click on "USEF LOGIN" at the top right hand side of the USEF home page at www.usef.org. Online applications have an extended deadline of August 31, 2011.


• Or complete an application by regular mail/fax/hand delivered by downloading the application HERE. Applications must be postmarked, hand delivered, or faxed on or prior to Wednesday August 24, 2011.

Zone 7 has an additional requirement this year: "Additional certificates of capability requirement: Rider/Horse must compete in 5 classes at 1.40 meter with 8 faults or less". Additional information regarding the 2011 USEF National Junior Jumper Championships can be found on the USEF website.

2011 EAP Application Available The 2011 Emerging Athletes Program application for Zones 4, 5, 8, 9 and 12 is due April 1, 2011. Apply now! Registration is now available for the first 2011 Trainers Symposium this May in Katy, TX. The Symposiums are offered to everyone - not just trainers. Trainers Symposiums count toward the professional requirements for the USHJA Trainer Certification Program.

USHJA would like to recognize and congratulate the USHJA National Hunter Classic Regional Award Winners. The USHJA National Hunter Classics are a series of stepping stone events for riders to gain experience toward competing in the International Hunter Derbies. Hunter Classics are offered with a minimum of $2500 in prize money and are held at "A" and "AA" rated shows. Click Here for the 2010 Winners.

Applications for the USHJA International Hunter Derby 2012-13 Series Hosts will open June 1, 2011 with a deadline of August 1, 2011. The August deadline will allow the USHJA to announce selected Host Competitions earlier than in previous years and provide those Competitions the maximum benefit of USHJA advertising for their event. The USHJA International Hunter Derby 2012-13 Series begins June 2, 2012 and concludes June 1, 2013. Host application packets will be available on the International Hunter Derby homepage.
