Fill out an application to apply to participate in the Level I Training Sessions. All applications must be received by 5 p.m. on April 23 in order to be considered. The Emerging Athletes Program provides young riders the opportunity to learn from top riders and trainers in the industry while developing their career as a professional. With the creation of a national program, the USHJA hopes to transition young athletes to international competition. At each Training Session, riders will receive guidance and feedback from top professionals in the industry and be evaluated on their horsemanship skills, overall knowledge and riding ability. Information on the Emerging Athletes Program as well as the application process can be found on the USHJA website. ___________________________________________ USHJA Building For Growth Capital Campaign Since its inception just four years ago, the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) has experienced unprecedented growth and has quickly become the largest recognized affiliate of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF). Albeit the USEF’s largest affiliate, USHJA is also one of the only affiliates to not have its own headquarters. But that is changing!! On September 24, 2008, the USHJA celebrated two landmark occasions: the launch of the “Building For Growth” Capital Campaign and the groundbreaking of the new USHJA National Headquarters. Located in a prominent spot within the Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, Kentucky, the USHJA National Headquarters will house office space, conference rooms, a dining lounge, National Hunter/Jumper Sport Museum, courtyard and gardens. Designed to serve the Association and its members well into the future, the building is large enough to allow for future anticipated growth while providing lease income in the interim. The $6.5 million Capital Campaign will provide all costs associated with construction as well as maintenance funds for the building in perpetuity. Slated for occupancy in October 2009, the building will be fully operational and available to members in time for the 2010 Alltech World Equestrian Games. Click here for information on how can contribute to the “Building For Growth” Capital Campaign and support this milestone in USHJA’s history. ___________________________________________ Upcoming ASG Software Solutions/USHJA International Hunter Derby Classes
