2010 Zone 2 Hunter Seat Medal Finals

The Zone 2 Hunter Seat Medal Finals to be held September 24, 2010 at the Old Salem Farm Show in North Salem, NY is another opportunity to qualify for the Pessoa Hunter Seat Medal finals. A rider who wins a Zone Championship on or before October 1 becomes eligible to enter the Finals regardless of points.

Zone 2 Finals Information

Entries for the Zone 2 Hunter Finals will be limited based on USEF Zone 2 points earned by horses/ponies at no more than 15 shows starting on or after September 1, 2009 through shows starting on or before August 31, 2010. No rider may ride more than two entries in any section. Management will allow horses/ponies who were Champions in 2009 to show in their respective sections, if entered and eligible. Point totals will be verified with USEF. Entries must have earned at least one point in their section to be eligible for the Zone 2 Hunter Finals. Horse and rider must be recorded in Zone 2 and points count only from Zone 2.

Entries must be received by the closing date to be considered - refer to the prize list. Horse/rider top point earners from those that enter will be accepted. Zone 2 Hunter Finals Prize list is available online for the criteria and number of entries accepted.

To keep the USHJA Zone 2 Finals at the level the competitors have come to expect each year, the Zone 2 Committee tries to reach out to sponsors and patrons not only from the past years, but to new ones as well.
