It has been brought to USHJA's attention that there is some confusion regarding the criteria for obtaining
qualifying zone points for the 2010 USEF National Pony Jumper Championships.
Approved zone specifications supersede the USEF Rule Book for any specific zone's points. The Pony Jumper
Championships is the only championship that allow children's jumper points to count when competing outside of
an individual's home zone. For example, if the accepted criteria for the pony jumper section for your zone
lists children's jumper at 1.00 meter, but your current zone specifications do not count 1.00 meter sections
points will not count. However, if you compete in a different zone and that zone counts points for 1.00 meter
your points would count towards the Pony Jumper Championships standings.
Please refer to the 2010 USEF National Pony Jumper Championships criteria and standings information of
how points are calculated. You can access this information through your USHJA
zone website under points and awards or by
visiting the USEF website.
