Hunter Breeding Task Force Members

The West Coast 2010 Sallie B. Wheeler/USEF National Hunter Breeding Championships will be held on September 1, 2010 at Showpark All Seasons in Del Mar, CA. The East Coast 2010 Sallie B. Wheeler/USEF National Hunter Breeding Championships will be held on September 4, 2010 at the Warrenton Horse Show in Warrenton, VA. These championships will be judged by Sue Ashe and Julie Winkel.

Hunter Jumper Pony Task Force Members

The purpose of the USHJA Pony Hunter Task Force is to promote the pony hunter division, review and propose rule changes to continuously improve the division, and assist the USEF in producing the USEF Pony Finals. The 2010 USEF Pony Medal Finals will be held on August 10-15, 2010 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.

Hunt Seat Equitation Task Force Members

The purpose of the Hunter Seat Equitation Division is to prepare well-rounded riders who are capable of showing hunters and jumpers on both a national and international level.
The USHJA Hunter Seat Equitation Task Force is responsible for developing rules that maintain the highest standards of horsemanship and promote the welfare of the horse. All members of the Task Force are responsible for leading and educating the USEF and the USHJA membership on these standards.
We will work with the Continuing Education and Clinics Committee to ensure that there are uniform judging standards throughout the country, and ensure that the USEF Hunter Seat Medal Finals are conducted in a challenging, fair and sportsmanlike manner. For Official rules regarding the USEF Medal Finals, see the USEF web site at www.usef.org. The 2010 USEF Medal Final will be held on October 17, 2010 at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show.

Junior Hunter Task Force Members

East Coast Junior Hunter Finals will be held on Tuesday, August 3rd and Wednesday, August 4th at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. West Coast Junior Hunter Finals will be held on Tuesday, August 17th through Wednesday, August 18th, 2010 at Showpark All Seasons in Del Mar, CA.

Open Hunter Task Force Members

The USHJA Open Hunter Task Force is responsible for developing rules that maintain the highest standards of horsemanship and promote the welfare of the horse. All members of the Task Force are responsible for leading and educating the USEF and the USHJA membership on these standards.
We will work with the Continuing Education and Clinics Committee to ensure that there are uniform judging standards throughout the country, and ensure that the Hunter classes are conducted in a fair and sportsmanlike manner. The USHJA Open Hunter Task force is comprised of a variety of people with knowledge in the Hunter discipline located throughout the country. This task force puts forward rule changes and addresses show management and exhibitor's issues.
