Zones

• USHJA Tad Coffin Zone III Junior Equitation Finals
Open to Junior Members of USHJA who reside in Zone III only. Qualifying shall be winning any of the Zone III state equitation medals or by winning either the USEF Medal, ASPCA Medal or WISH Medal classes that are held in Zone III. Classes shall be divided by height; 3 feet and under and over 3 feet. There will be two height sections: 3’ and 3’6”. In order to qualify for a 3’ section, the rider must not have competed at the 3’6” level more than 3 times. Course for the finals shall consist of at least ten jumping efforts with at least one combination and two changes of direction. Qualifying period is September 1st - August 18th. Class may be split at the discretion of the committee.
