Master Plan

The new USHJA headquarters building is located on a prominent site at the Kentucky Horse Park, among other established visitor attractions. The exterior aesthetics of the new building are designed to compliment the existing park buildings, yet set itself apart as something new and exciting. This dynamic new facility is accessible to Horse Park visitors as a new attraction to the park and a permanent destination.

The building has several components that serve multiple purposes for the organization and the sports represented. The USHJA headquarters office space services the needs of the membership while promoting the sport. Both interior and exterior spaces have been incorporated as seminar and training areas that also serve as entertaining spaces during special events.

The museum component of the building serves as a dynamic introduction to the novice and celebrates the sport to the enthusiast. The new USHJA facility signifies the future and permanence of the Hunter/Jumper Sport in Lexington, Kentucky, the Horse Capitol of the World.
