Awards USHJA Nominee for the USEF Youth Sportsman's Charter Award
The United States Equestrian Federation began the USEF Youth Sportsman's Charter Award Program in 2006. This award program is designed for junior exhibitors who are current members of both the USEF and their recognized national affiliate (I.e. USHJA). The youth candidates are to demonstrate an ongoing commitment and dedication to the USEF and their affiliate, through the promotion of the horse and to serve as a role model for their peers. Nominations should be sent to USHJA Zone Coordinator, Claudia Meeks (cmeeks@ushja.org) beginning May 1, 2008 and ending September 26, 2008. Claudia will then meet with each Zone to decide on one nominee to represent the Zone. Once each Zone has chosen their nominee, the names will be submitted to the USHJA Youth Council; the Council will then decide the final USHJA nominee and submit the name to USEF before October 31, 2008.
